Research- Acting Part 2
Sabaidee! This is a continuation of the last acting post. In this post, I will focus more on Jackie Chan's type of genre. Jackie's films tend to stay more action based, even in his more serious films like The Foreigner. However, most of his films do carry a humorous tone throughout them (with the exception of The Foreigner. However, this film does show off a side to Jackie which I would heavily encourage you to watch if you haven't already.)
One main theme throughout all of his movies is Justice. This theme plays a major role in his career. There are also many other actors that have similar careers to Jackie which I mention in the exercise. One cool connection between the actors Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, and Donnie Yen is their attachment to Hong Kong. A rebellious culture created in Hong Kong plays a major role in the theme of justice in their respective movies.
